GENERAL GUIDELINES

Wear appropriate protective clothing and gear: closed-toed shoes, long sleeves, chemical resistant gloves and safety glasses. Vapco STW series, hose end gun (HEG-1), or tiny tank (TTC-1) sprayers are recommended for application.

SHUT THE SYSTEM OFF.

Condensers:

  1. First mix four parts water with one part Quad Power.
  2. Add water to the sprayer.
  3. Next, add the product.
  4. Spray the solution onto the dirty surface.
  5. Let sit for 5-7 minutes.
  6.  Rinse with water.
  7. Finally, rinse out sprayer, spraying wand, and nozzle.
  8.  Following up with a second application may be required for extremely dirty coils

Evaporators/Mini Splits/Micro Channels:

Cleaning evaporator coils does not require rinsing.

  1. Use 10 parts water and one part Quad Power.
  2. Apply with sprayer.
  3. Use in a “no-rinse” environment with sufficient humidity being condensed from the air to provide rinsing.
  4. Spray product’s solution onto the dirty surface.
  5. Soak for 5-10 minutes.
  6. Return system to operation. Condensation will rinse away the solution.
  7. Finally, rinse out sprayer, spraying wand, and nozzle. Follow up with a second application for extremely dirty coils.

Permanent Filters: For cleaning greasy components in a basin or tub, for every gallon of water add one ounce of Quad Power. Soak parts for at least 15 minutes, then rinse with water.

Quad Power Aerosol:

  1. First, wear protective gear.
  2. Shake canister.
  3. Remove the cap and spray it towards the surface.
  4. Wait 5-10 minutes for the foam to liquefy.
  5. Finally, rinse the surface with water.

Effect on Roofing Materials: Conditional to its composition and condition, the color and finish of roofing material can be affected by coil cleaners. Test cleaner on a small area of the roof before cleaning.

Rubber Roofs: Generally safe on rubber and membrane roofs. Test cleaner on a small area before cleaning.
